This editorial piece is based on a client’s personal identity brand; but, it is no orthodox editorial spread. The purpose of this editorial is to push out of the boundary of what a conventional editorial spread would typically be, in order to get the audience to “turn the page”, and at the same time to align with the client’s needs and interests.
I chose the deliverable of the editorial to be a box because like many things, box hold sentimental items and keepsakes that are meaningful, and the intention of this also aligned with the client’s interests. I created and refined the design of the box structure, and designed it in a way to have two extra compartments on each side to hold more elements related to the client and add an extra unique layer to the experience of the editorial box.
The visuals used throughout this project include images from the client’s favorite TV shows, characters, colors, games, songs, books as well as key words and titles that represent the client, in order to highlight the client’s personal identity through this editorial spread.

An additional interactive layer was added to the editorial experience, where I embedded a QR code in the design of the collage that accesses the illustration portfolio of the client, as well as a Spotify scan tag that accesses a playlist of all the client’s favorite tunes. These elements enhance the experience of the editorial while providing more insight to the client’s identity and influences.
